sitting with my back against the radiator in an attempt to keep warm...ive got my rollers in and ive decided that its time to go back to the murder mystery i half-heartedly started writing over the summer. i wanted to write something Agatha Christie-esq but its turned out more Atonement- lots of women standing at windows wearing silk dressed and no shoes and smoking lots. its nearing the end of the year now and im starting to think that this should be some sort of new years resolution, along with the standard 'get fit, get healthy, find a man' type stuff- though that never really works out for anyone i dont think! how bleak! on a lighter note- i bought a lovely lovely new hat this week- is small and white and makes me feel festive and jolly which is always a good thing! i always love a new hat, and you always get appreciative looks from sweet old ladies and besides they keep you warm!
